My name is Ken Burnett. I’ve been living stories for a few years over sixty, been telling them for years. Some are so true you couldn’t punch a hole in them anywhere, some are fanciful, some are lies, some are just a guess, but they’re all fairly short and they go down pretty easy from what I’ve heard.
I’ve sold cars for many many years, I managed car dealerships, owned one, and been selling stuff all my life and have stories from all of it. I’m also a musician. I play mandolin in bands and I play guitar and sing as well. And I have lived in many places including a few foreign countries, (Air Force Brat). And I write songs. Generally in a folksy/bluegrassy way. Some of them are pretty good, so I’ve been told.
I have been posting these little tales for all my friends to read on Facebook and over the last couple of years have built a small audience of seemingly loyal readers. Many have suggested I make a book and that is in the works.
That book will be called BlivetBag-Readin’ Material, and is due to be published soon. well, after its edited and prettied up for y’all.

There is a collection of car business stories I have written on another blog called Cartoons. Some are funny, all are at least partially true, and all allow you a small glimpse into the hows and whys of the car sales business. It’s not as dark as one might think.
